I originally created this Art as a way to empower the conversation around the Women’s March and the “Me, Too” Movement back in 2018.  As we have just witnessed the rollback of Roe vs. Wade by the Supreme Court in 2022, this empowering sentiment is as timely as ever.

I modified the original quote which was from John Viscount Morley’s 1874 essay, “On Compromise” – excerpted from the series, “Great Ideas from Western Man.”  This quote was on an art poster designed by the late artist, Ben Shahn that read: “You have not converted a man because you have silenced him.”
